Anemone Beck Koh is an ecological designer with rich cultural background and cosmopolitan life. She specializes in Urban Landscape Design, Building-Landscape Integration and Design for Sustainability. Her present design and research focuses on generative and regenerative strategies for urban structuring, long-term design and management strategies for rural landscapes, and on integrative landscape design. In her work she emphasizes design of feeling and emotion, sometimes using figurative design and ecological art to convey meaning. She holds degrees in Landscape Architecture and Urban Design from Berlin Technical University and the University of Pennsylvania, and has studied, practiced and taught in several countries of Europe, USA and Asia. Since 2003, she is also Visiting Professor in the International Master of Landscape Architecture Program at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, Germany.
