The enlightened eaves, a complex layered transition space, span from in- to outdoor. It connects Millefleur Park, the basements of the mall and the underground and by that it links the site to the rest of the city. Sindorim Subway station is an important transportation node in the city of Seoul that has about 320 000 people passing every day. The reflective ceiling brightens and opens up the space. A traditional Korean color scheme gives accent and adds cheerfulness to the concourse and serves the orientation of the visitor.
