Seoul Grand Park is envisioned as agent for cultural change and megacity sustainability:

It is a performative park for transformative experience where all systems, processes and places are integrated. The strategic design is capable of facilitating all future developments, while offering places for popular Korean entertainment. The park provides the opportunity to enjoy the aesthetics of seasonal change in landscapes of flux and flow: wet and dry, hot-shaded humid leisure and cold-protected sunny outdoors.
